Burn Permits

Greenough Potomac Volunteer Fire Department has a pancake breakfast once a year usually late winter early spring, where you can come enjoy a delicious breakfast, get your burn permits (at no cost to you), and get fire extinguishers checked and filled. If you don't make our pancake breakfast then you can go to www.burnpermit.mt.gov to get your burn permits at a cost of $7.00.

Please make sure you call 1-888-583-6497 on the day you plan to burn to make sure it is a legal day to burn, and remember no fires may be lit before 9:00 a.m. or be allowed to burn after 4:00 p.m.
